From the thoughtfully planted to the naturally untamed, Whitton Hall’s grounds provide a number of different spaces for you to host each part of your special day. Host tea in The Walled Garden, drinks beneath the vast Beech trees, steal a private moment with your photographer by the lake and rejoin your guests for dinner in on the back lawn.

Stay in the house
The Ball Room is the perfect room for the bride or groom-to-be. With high ceilings and a bow windows with views of the back lawn, this bedroom has the space you need for you and your loved ones to get ready on the morning of your wedding.
There are six additional double or twin rooms for your wedding party, accommodating sixteen in total should you need.

Drinks in the garden.
Whitton Hall is situated in one of the most stunning parts of Shropshire, surrounded by 500 acres of gardens, grazing and ancient woodland.
There are a number of havens to locate different parts of your day, from The Walled Garden with its peonies, shrub roses, irises, geraniums and asters, to the lake with its ancient trees and reflections.
Come in May for the display of old rhododendrons backed up by azaleas and bluebells, or October for spectacular autumnal colours and light.

Food and drink.
Whether you are a party of sixteen or three hundred, get in touch to discuss your food and drink options.
Our team can work with you to create a seasonal menu from The Kitchen Garden and local markets, or we have suggestions about local caterers should you need them.
Flowers.
If natural and authentic is the look you are after, we would love to add to your wedding day with flowers from the garden for your marquee and bouquets.
Ceremony.
If you would like to host your ceremony at Whitton Hall, Kate is trained as a celebrant and will work with you to design a service with readings that work for you.
Private use of the house.
For more intimate weddings, we can seat up to sixteen in our dining room, with all guests accommodated in the house.
Make use of the main hall and drawing rooms with their beautiful art collections, high ceilings and inviting log fires.
We also invite guests to make use of our fully licensed Penguin Bar with its collection of drinks and vintage Penguin editions.

Exclusive hire of gardens - starting at £3000 - £10,000 depending on the time of year
Exclusive hire of bedrooms (16 people) - starting at £1100 per night
Dinner in the dining room (16 people) - starting at £40 per head
Flowers incl. bouquet, buttonholes, table decorations - £400-£1500 depending on requirements
Celebrant - £750 all-inclusive
Ample parking is included, and loo hire is available on request.
